Christmas was a success!
Boy.... is our house ever crazy!! Caleb and Casen had a wonderful Christmas. I think everything they got makes noise!! On Christmas Eve we sprinkled our reindeer food on the lawn, left milk and cookies for Santa, and were off to bed. Caleb was so excited he could not sleep. We tried everything. He became very frustrated and could no longer hold back the stream of tears. He was afraid that Santa would pass him by if he did not go to sleep soon. Nothing was working....when suddenly he received a phone call that changed everything. Mrs. Claus called to tell Caleb that Santa had just gone by his house and noticed that his bedroom light was still on. He told him not to worry that he would never pass him by. Caleb was ecstatic and was able to calm down and go to sleep assured that Santa would not forget him!! While all this was unfolding Casen was nestled snug in his bed fast asleep. Santa kept his word and both boys were very excited on Christmas morning!! Caleb got is RC car and Casen got his bike. They also got mp3 players....boy were they ever a hit. They crack me up walking around the house singing to the top of their lungs and creating new dance moves!! We have one last Christmas bash to attend today and then we can look forward to 2009!!

A look at 2008!!
Okay.....that wasn't so bad!! I figured it out and am so excited that I didn't have to call anyone! That is a miracle.
Just thought I would catch everyone up on the events 2008! Rickey continues to build his business!! We are so excited about the future of Timeless Rods and Customs. He is building some of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen. The guys at Timeless are very talented and can turn a hunk of junk into an amazing car!! If you get a chance visit the website at www.timelessrods.com.
I am still teaching at Wauka Mountain in 1st grade. I love my students and always look forward to what each new day brings. Trust me....I have stories to tell!!
Caleb is in 1st grade and is doing so well. He is learning to read and is a major math whiz. This year he has taken up the new hobby of RC cars....thanks to his cousin Chris. He is hoping and praying that Santa brings him one!! He continues to play all sports. He loves it!!! He is currently playing basketball for Wauka Mountain. I think basketball may become his sport of choice. He is very impressed with his cousin Taylor's basketball ability and often tries to mock it....this is a good thing!! We are patiently waiting for him to loose his first tooth. He wants so badly to be toothless. The sad part is that his permanent teeth are coming in behind his baby teeth and if something doesn't happen soon the dentist wants to pull them....Lord help us!!!
Casen is in pre-school at Providence. He is sooooo energetic. He follows his brother around and wants to do everything he does.....which irritates Caleb to death. This year Casen has made a very important career decision. He wants to become the next Ultimate Fighting Champion. The problem is he is practicing on his brother!!! He also loves sports and is currently playing basketball for the YMCA. It is the cutest thing!
We are excited about what 2009 holds for our family. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year, and may God bless you and yours!!
